eJournal User Guide: Review Entries (IE)

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Choose "File" from the menu and select "Open"
  3. When the dialog appears, click on the "Browse..." button
  4. Navigate to the directory where the journals are stored (typically, C:\Data\<user>\journals\) and select the journal to open (journals are named with the following convention mmmYYYY.xml, where mmm is the month and yyyy is the year for the journal).

Note: Journals are stored as XML files.
Journals are verified against a DTD file.
Journals are formatted as HTML using an XSL template.
Note: Viewing has only been tested with Internet Explorer 5.5. Compatibility with other browsers and versions is not known.
